Tuesday was supposed to be a celebratory day for Thyssenkrupp : Major shareholder, the Alfried Krupp von Bohlen und Halbach Foundation, had invited guests to a celebratory dinner at Villa Hügel, the former headquarters of the Krupp family in Essen . But in the end, the day was once again overshadowed by rather unpleasant news from the company's perspective. According to reports, Dennis Grimm, head of the steel subsidiary Thyssenkrupp Steel Europe (TKSE), will unexpectedly resign from his position. He is said to have fallen out with the CEO of the parent company Thyssenkrupp, Miguel López. This was initially reported by the Bild newspaper and the Reuters news agency, citing unnamed insiders; the Süddeutsche Zeitung received confirmation from people close to the company. A TKSE spokesperson declined to comment on the reports.
